Barry has over 30 years of business experience.
He has been further honored by being elected three times (1979,1980 and 1989) as Treasurer of the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley Association of Realtors (now part of the Orange County Association of Realtors) and elected as its 1982, 1994, and 1995 President.
Besides Barry's activities on behalf of organized real estate, he has also served on various committees for the County of Orange and the City of Huntington Beach, as well as serving as a Vice President of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce. Barry's leadership also resulted in the first use of Mortgage Revenue Bonds for resale housing in the United States.
